Inlay is a specialized term in the RFID industry, referring to a pre-laminated product composed of PET material and aluminum, with a chip and coil layers bonded together. Through various forms of encapsulation, different types of UHF tag can be produced. The inlay can be understood as an unencapsulated semi-finished product of an RFID tags.
RFID inlay can be divided into dry inlay and wet inlay.
